OpenComp documentation
GPU compositor for VFX.
OpenComp is a node-based compositor for visual effects. If you know Nuke, you already know how to use it: the same nodes, knobs, shortcuts and .nk files. It runs on Linux today, with no Blender needed, and covers 2D compositing, a 3D view with Cycles, the OpenComp Review editorial app, AI tools that run on your own GPU, and command-line and LAN rendering.
- Install: set it up on Linux.
- Getting started: launch it, find your way around, build a first comp.
- For Nuke users: what is identical, what differs.
- Node reference: every node, generated from the code.
- Concepts: colour, layers, 3D, AI, review, movies and more.
- Developer guide: architecture, writing a node, tests, MCP.
- Keyboard shortcuts
